Waste Conversion
Cyclize qualifies carbon-rich waste streams—solid, liquid or gaseous—based on carbon recovery potential and impurities. Mixed residues from plastics, process gases or other organo-chemical streams are pre-conditioned as needed and fed to the reactor without complex sorting or separation, enabling impressive feedstock flexibility.
Plasma reforming
In the non-thermal plasma zone, an electrically driven discharge generates energetic electrons in a comparatively cool bulk gas. These electrons dissociate CO₂ and organic compounds, cleaving C–H, C–C and C–O bonds. The resulting reactive fragments form the basis for controlled reforming towards simple syngas components.
Syngas production
Downstream of the plasma, the reaction mixture is stabilised and conditioned to form a defined synthesis gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Gas cleaning and process control align composition and purity with industrial syngas requirements, enabling use as a drop-in replacement for fossil-based syngas.
Industrial application
Cyclize plants are designed to interface directly with syngas consumers in the chemical industry. Waste- and CO₂-based syngas can be blended with or substitute fossil syngas in established process routes, supporting defossilisation of carbon feedstock while keeping existing downstream assets and infrastructure in place.
