Pioneering Syngas Production Through Plasma Reforming

The laboratory facility laid the foundation for the transition from groundbreaking innovations to commercially viable technology. Today it is used to run test series for industrial customers.

Pre-industrial Pilot

The pilot plant marked the step from proof of concept to proof of plant in an industrially relevant environment. It combines pre-conversion, plasma reforming, gas cleaning and automated control in a fully integrated system that produces on-spec syngas from real mixed waste and CO₂. Today, it is used to run extensive test campaigns, generating valuable data on the path to commercial-scale plants.

First-of-a-Kind Industrial Plant

Cyclize is in preparation to kick-off planning and building a first-of-a-kind (FOAK) plant at industrial scale. The FOAK plant will be located in Germany and marks the first step of commercializing our technology.

Scaling-up of Groundbreaking Technology at Full Industrial Scale

The first 10 MW industrial plant is Cyclize’s full-scale reference for continuous commercial operation. It translates the proven plasma process into a multi-line industrial facility. As the blueprint for subsequent plants across major chemical clusters, it is intended to demonstrate long-term reliability, on-spec syngas delivery and attractive unit economics at true commercial scale.
