The name Cyclize is derived from ‘to cyclize’. In chemistry, this refers to a reaction in which a carbon chain is closed to form a ring. We close the loop for circular carbon.

Our journey started with a research project about splitting CO2 to produce synthetic fuels for the shipping industry.
First Self-developed Power Supply
Our ongoing developments have led us to build our first plasma drivers with an output of 2 kW to power our plasma technology.
Proof-of-Principle
Due to our relentless efforts, we have achieved proof of principle by validating the fundamental technical principles behind our idea at a scale of 350 W.
Exist Research Transfer Grant
Successful technical developments enabled us to scale our plasma drivers to an electrical power of 2 kW in our high-efficiency plasma technology. Receiving the Exist Research Transfer grant laid the foundation for scaling to industrial scale.
Proof-of-Concept
The proof of synthesis gas production using waste and CO2 is a major milestone on our journey.
Series Seed Funding
Our successful seed funding enabled us to grow our team, strengthen our commercial activities towards defossilizing the chemical industry and fully focus on scaling our solution.
Proof-of-Plant
Scaling our technology by building our pilot plant with an electrical output of 50 kW was an important milestone that has positioned us as a leading company in the field of green chemistry.
